Some people find it difficult to receive criticism.
Especially those who think they always know best.

I think it’s important to be critical in such a way that the recipient does not feel offended.

Some people use ctisism to be mean and rectless. I see this every day at work.

Good cirisism is constructive – Bad critisism make people offended.

WOW this is wonderful and lot of good points made here and I personally would rather be told the truth by a friend that it stinks and this needs to be fixed than to put something out there and have a stranger correct me with the truth.
I have always believe that it not what happens that really matters – it’s how you handle it will make all the difference.
So yes maybe at the time we are being criticized – it don’t feel so good but in the long run it will help us if we let it

All criticism is useful, it can tell you what you need to know and who to ignore. Value is found where usefulness is present and worthless is when the criticism is hollow and thus to be ignored.

Hey Azar thanks for the wonderful comment. I have always been told this in my life.

A friend will bond you out of jail when you get in trouble but a true friend will be in jail with you.

Of course we dont want something like that to happen but its always good to have these types of friends.

When i said failed you need to keep reading. I failed at internet marketing a few times. Guess what. Everyone fails in the beginning. I dont fail anymore do i. Obviously not since you found my blog. I never said they didnt have good wings. Im just saying that it is not a good place to work. This is part of my job. Companies hire me to get hired at companies like this and critique them. If i didnt have the experience do you actually think companies would hire me to go in and research these companies. Just an idea for you. Instead of coming here bashing me. Go work there and then you tell me how great of a place it is. Some people i swear. If they had a brain they would be dangerous

Very nicely put Craig. I was almost inclined to disagree with you until you explained it the way you did, and I realize you have an excellent point and that I needed to open my mind some more to see what you were getting at.

With something as serious as building our businesses, it is very necessary to take the criticism for what it is and use it to our benefit.

And with an open and accepting attitude as you just explained, it can be turned from what may have felt like an insult to the suggestions we needed to better ourselves and the work we are doing.

Kudos to you for opening my eyes and making me realize that you are right- if you just take the criticism, bashing, trashing, or whatever it appears to be and make it work for you, then you’ve taken a big step to improving on yourself.

I just heard these guys, brand rather, won 1st place in the National Wing Festival in Buffalo, NY this past weekend. I also read they were voted best wings in every market they operate in including Salisbury. I read your bio, you failed at everything you tried, you said so in your bio… why would anyone want advise from you. Thank God for freedom of speach (it’s your right) and thank God for the ability to file this site into my trash file.

Have you ever had food on your teeth and no one tells

you except a good friend, while everyone else is telling

you how great you look and they never say a word. A

real friend will tell you when you are messing up or you

are messed up. In this business, we have to depend on

others to critique our work because that is the only

way we get better and grow.

I have learned in life, people are always going to give you

their opinion, solicited or not. But a good friend is

always going to tell you the truth and sometimes it just

doesn’t feel good. If you are going to succeed, you

really have to depend on others to critique your work

because there are times that we get so focused on what

we are doing that we loose our ability to be objective.

That is why it is so important to belong to a good team.

If someone criticizes your work, friend or not, take

a look at what they are saying, don’t allow your

feelings to get hurt, Make the necessary changes (if

any) and move on. Like Howard says, “Now let’s get

things done the way they should be done”

Yes this is a very good topic, for ive had some one criticized my video . At first i got kinda mad but honsetly, it made me work harder at it. So for those that get mad dont just improve. for i did.
