Do Squeeze Pages Really Work!

Posted on 31. Dec, 2009 by admin in Do Sqeeze Pages Really Work

Hello Everyone

First off i hope everyone has a wonderful New Years. I know i will.

Im so sick of seeing these articles stating that you dont need a compelling squeeze page to attract people to your opportunity.

Honestly, thats a bunch of cow butt.

Why would anyone want to sign up for some opportunity if the page looks tacky.

The way i look at it is if the squeeze page looks like it was just thrown together then the person presenting that squeeze page didnt put much effort into making it and in my eyes what does that say about anything that person does with his business.

I understand if you have no design skills but there are so many free squeeze page software programs out there, it really isnt hard to make one. Just use your imagination when making it and you will be fine.

I also see alot of people that copy the same squeeze page from someone else.

I have always learned. You can copy someones success but not someones imagination.

Using graphics on a squeeze page works substantially great.

Any type of web 2.0 graphics work good. Animated graphics work great too but dont go over board.

You want your squeeze page to load quick. To many graphics will slow it down.

So what consists of a good squeeze page!

Well first off you want to design it to capture the audiences eye so this is where animated graphics have a role.

The headline is the #1 most important thing you need on a squeeze page.

Im not talking about some cheezy line but something that would catch your eye.

Sit in your customers seat and take a look at it.

Is this something that attracts you. Would you sign up for it.

Heres a headline that gets great conversions and you can use it in just about any market.

Discover How You Can ______ Without Ever paying a dime______100% Guaranteed.

I would even bold your headline text with a different color.

Then you want a sub heading to lead your prospects into the page.

Then you want a short sales message list about 5 things that your customer can benefit from using your product or service.

Offering a free report or product works great to bring prospects in.

Last thing you need some type of submission form to collect your prospects emails.

So yes squeeze pages work but if you have a lame page you just put together then good luck trying to attract prospects.

One other thing to remember on a squeeze page.

Video works great and converts into sales.

Heres a sample of a squeeze page.

Absolutely… like I do agree that the most important thing is to just ge something up – no matter how good or bad it is but that’s the start – not the end.

There should always be constant improvement to get that squeeze page from 40% to 50% and so on.

I’m currently testing with an image vs. without an image and so far there’s no difference which has surprised me. Once I finally manage to find a winner I’ll be adding another variation.
